Technical Service Representative

Technical Service Representative (TSR)

This role supports brokers by performing non-client facing tasks. Under supervision the
TSR is responsible for assisting a Customer Service Representative in all aspects of their
positions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Process and review renewal and policy changes
• Update claims notices within our computer system
• Merge daily e-Docs
• Identify and research late renewals
• Follow up with clients on outstanding documents or information
• Contact clients upon complications with their monthly payments.
• Respond to carrier requests for client information
• Prepare and send registered notices of cancellation for company non-renewals
• Calculate rebuilding values upon receipt of Home Evaluation questionnaire from clients
• Assist Customer Service Representatives with completing outstanding work
• Confirm and/or process client payments
• Contact clients on registered letters of cancellation for non-payment
• Assist in keeping agency-billed premiums paid and current
• Engage in continuous learning to update job skills, change work habits and keep current with carrier products and processes to improve performance
• Act as backup for reception

Qualifications
• Willing to go through the Registered Insurance Brokers Course and Examination
• Proficient computers skills
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Ability to work independently or within a team-based environment
• Detail oriented, organized and accurate
• Professional, enthusiastic, patient and a team player
• One year Diploma from College/ University an asset

Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative (TSR)

This role supports clients by preforming all client tasks. Under supervision depending on experience level of CSR, is responsible for all aspects of client services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and welcome clients that visit our office in person to make amendments to policies as requested within the binding authority of the insuring company.
• Take and report claims to insuring companies.
• Respond to carrier requests for information on existing policies.
• Prepare and send Registered Letters for policies lapsing for underwriting reasons.
• Able to complete a EZITV on system for property policies.
• Able to successfully use Applied Rating Services to establish accurate quotes.
• Process client payments and assist with billing inquires.
• Act as back up for another CSR that may be unavailable.
• Handle office faxes and complete or co-ordinate changes as requested.
• Sign applications with clients as arranged by producers and communicate any discrepancies.
• Handle Billing Issues as they arise in attempt to keep policies in force.
• Order applications as requested by producers who have provided all necessary information required to request the application.
• Send policies to shop that require a competitive rate comparison.

Qualifications

• RIBO Licence in good standing.
• Proficient computer skills

Account Executive

Account Executive

The role of the Account Executive is to provide in house sales on current business through the renewal process. The Account Executive completes a review and provide contact to VIP Personal Lines Accounts.

Qualifications

• RIBO Licenced
• CAIB or CIP Licensed an asset
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or within a team based environment
• Detailed oriented, organized and accurate
• Professional, enthusiastic, patient and a team player
• One year diploma from College or University an asset
